1. Diamond Leg Bends
- Hand on hips, 1st position
- Draw naval to spine
- Slowly lower hips mindfully, pulling against earth as you come back up
- Zippering from ankles to thighs
- As you come back up engage thighs
- Shoulders back, chest nice and open
- Wide plie, 2nd position
- Opening up thighs, gently coming up and down
- Engagement on inner thighs
- Mindfully pull hips away and toward body
- Shoulders nice and soft, hands on hips
- Bending knees as far as it feels good
- Finding pace that works for you
With Arm Glides, Releve
- Drop knees down
- Sweep arms toward ground and up overhead
- As you lift, feel heels lift
- Drop heels down as you go down
- Chest open
- Spin thighs together as you come up, glide hips down as you come down
- Exhale as you go down, inhale as you rise up
- Arm goes as far as feels best, without rounding posture
