Week Two

Congratulations on making it to WEEK TWO of your Six Mindful Weeks! I know new habits can be hard to create, so if you didn't do exactly what you set out to do on Week One, that's okay! We have a brand new week to start with a clean slate.

Take some time to reflect on your biggest obstacles over the last week. Was it time, money, resources? If you are struggling with these, I highly recommend Chapter Four in "Everything is Figureoutable" on Eliminating Excuses. Give it a read, it really helped me!

Take a look at your workbook. If you haven't filled out Week One already, no worries...take a few minutes and fill it out now! We are focusing on four main categories of wellness:

  • Meals
  • Exercise
  • Mindfulness
  • Self-Care

Try and complete each section with a phrase about something you did that was just a little better than what you would normally do.

Here are some examples:

Meals: Make dinner at home and plan what it will be the day before.

Exercise: Go to the gym on Thursday at 2 and Friday at Noon.

Mindfulness: Listen to my audiobook without touching my phone or doing anything else.

Self-Care: Take an Epsom salts bath by Sunday night.

As you can see, these examples are Specific, Measurable, Assignable, Realistic, Time-related. They are known as SMART goals. Find out what Wiki has to say about these types of goals!

THE QUIZ

If you haven't already, take THE QUIZ in your workbook to find out more about your Dosha. This is an insight into who you are as an individual, and what you need most. You'll also find FREE YOGA in the yoga sequences accompanying the quiz. Feel free to try them out, but be sure to listen to your body and do only what feels good to you!

Check with your medical time before beginning any new program and from time to time to assess any health changes.
