WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU
To learn to let go of the distractions in the mind during meditation, not to fight it but acknowledge it and to learn to ignore it. To learn to know that the distractions are there but to not be affected by the distraction.
HOW CAN YOU APPLY IT IN YOUR DAILY LIFE
It helps me to be able to concentrate. I can study and at the same time listen to Jazz music and even though I know that the music is playing, and focus and concentrate on my study and not the music.
WHAT ARE SOME BENEFITS OF APPLYING IT TO OUR DAILY LIFE
It helps me to use my senses with attention rather than distraction. I like visualization meditations and Pratyahara helps me focus on what I am visualizing.
