Components of PRANAYAMA


- Exhalation

- Inhalation

- Retention Inside

- Retention Outside

- Spending equal amount of time in inhalation and exhalation.

- Spending unequal amount of time in inhalation and exhalation.


Abdominal breathing.


The abdominal cavity changes shape when the movement of breathing compress the abdominal cavity. Place your hand on your belly, and explore connecting the muscular lift in your belly.


Breath retention.


Hold your breath for relaxation.

Retain, in that order.

Increase the length of the breathing gradually.


Yogic breathing.


Pranayama refers to a process that unrestrained the breath, and releases the body's tension that obstruct the equilibrium.


Ujjayi breath.


Long, deep and slow breath, the glottis are partially closed with only a small opening at the back of the vocal cords.
