10. Leg Abductions
- Get heart rate up, burn calories
- Quads working, increase flexibility by waking up connective tissue
- Strengthening inner thigh as leg is lifted
- Legs parallel, hands to hips
- Plie down and lift left leg out to side
Knees bent
- Face barre and place both hands on barre
- Lift one knee up, place it down, plie
- Lift the opposite knee, place it down, plie
Variation on Leg Abduction
- Leg moves out to side
- Leg moves back with foot flexed
- Leg moves out to the side
- Legs meet together in parallel position
- Keeping straight posture
